Big Jolt Triple-Dart BV
This design is a derivative of Mr. Liu’s Zhu Rong series.
The version used on this website is the open-source version designed from scratch by Qiu Fan (仇凡).
The Big Jolt Triple-Dart BV modifies the loading section of the launcher using a ball valve (BV) and progressively designed tubing. (BV stands for Ball Valve.) Unlike the original Big Jolt, which normally requires loading one dart for every shot, this design allows three darts to be loaded at once while still firing one dart at a time.
After loading three darts, you can perform three load-and-fire cycles consecutively before needing to reload again, creating a different and more interesting gameplay style.
Advantages:
Unique and fun gameplay compared to the standard Big Jolt.
After one loading process, the launcher can fire three shots consecutively.
Designed with high-speed setups in mind.
Limitations:
Because of the feeding mechanism, there is a possibility that 0–2 darts may fire instead of exactly one during a cycle. For better reliability, it is recommended to point the muzzle downward when loading, allowing gravity to help position the darts properly. It is not recommended for steep upward firing angles.
Also, due to the feeding mechanism, the muzzle velocity of the three darts may not be exactly the same.
Installation
Like other derivatives based on the Zhu Rong series, installation is very simple. Only the rear loading section of the launcher needs to be replaced.
