The ZWQ Cyclone BCAR is a high-precision CNC-milled aluminum bearing scar muzzle designed to improve dart stability and long-range accuracy across a wide range of performance foam-dart blasters. Using a system of angled bearings set at 3 degrees, the BCAR applies consistent rotational spin to darts as they exit the barrel—resulting in flatter trajectories, tighter groupings, and improved overall precision.
Available in both 16-axis and 30-axis configurations, the Cyclone BCAR accommodates a wide spectrum of blaster builds, from mid-FPS tuning to high-FPS competitive setups. Each model uses ZWQ’s signature metal self-locking, quick-release collet, ensuring a secure, centered, and easily removable fit on exposed 16mm or similar OD barrels.
Built from durable anodized aluminum and offered in multiple colors, the ZWQ Cyclone BCAR is a premium upgrade for shooters wanting reliable, repeatable performance and refined aesthetics.
We don’t want to exaggerate the performance or make accuracy claims we can’t personally verify. While we’ve owned and used ZWQ BCARs for a long time, our appreciation comes mainly from their build quality, convenience, design, and overall user experience.
In terms of accuracy, the performance we’ve seen is consistent with what many reviewers on YouTube demonstrate—the BCAR clearly provides meaningful stabilization and is a proven way to improve dart flight consistency. Across well-made BCARs, the differences in performance tend to be relatively small; whether it’s 3D-printed or CNC-machined, most properly designed and manufactured options can achieve comparable results. (That said, the Rexfire‘s Akasha BCAR operates on a different level and isn’t directly comparable here.——Not personally tested.)
At the same time, BCAR is only one part of the overall system. Other factors—such as dart consistency, barrel quality, and the blaster platform—also influence accuracy. For example, a single-shot blaster may naturally achieve better consistency than a mag-fed one, simply because the dart isn’t squeezed or potentially deformed during feeding. Environmental conditions, such as temperature and weather, can also play a role in overall performance.
So, if you value quality machining, durability, aesthetics, and ease of use, and are comfortable with the price, we can confidently recommend the ZWQ BCAR. But if you’re seeking accuracy improvements alone, that remains a bit of a “myth” from our perspective. Different setups behave differently, and results vary.
If you’re curious, we encourage you to try this BCAR—or explore the many excellent 3D-printed BCAR options available in the community—and see what works best for your build.
