Compatibility

Compatible with Diana launchers. A Diana 10-dart magazine is required to complete the modification. No additional hardware is needed.

Feature

Expanding the magazine capacity to 27 or 28 rounds works without any issues. The constant-force spring operates normally, and feeding and firing function properly.

To offer more choices in colors and finishes, filaments from different brands are used. Some parts of certain blasters cannot be customized because carbon fiber–reinforced PA6CF is used for long-term durability. Each filament has its own advantages and disadvantages. Compared with PLA, PETG is more heat-resistant and less prone to degradation, while PLA tends to produce fewer printing defects. Compared with standard PETG, PETG HF (limited to materials on this website) is slightly less strong but has a more matte, less glossy finish.

Three magazine lengths are available: 15-dart, 20-dart, and 28-dart (marked as 30, though loading 27–28 foam darts feels the most comfortable in practice). The 20-round and 28-round versions offer the most noticeable capacity increase, while the 15-round version leans more toward aesthetics—especially now that HC has released a 16-round factory magazine.

The design files themselves are open source, so you’re more than welcome to download them and print one yourself. The designer has been running this magazine for over a year with no issues at all.

The only real downside is the long print time, which unfortunately means we can’t price it as low as we’d like.

Why Tangdao

This is just a regular extended magazine.

We just named the mod Tangdao for fun.

Next time there’s a chance to design new mag mods, maybe a designer would be willing to truly base them on melee weapons as a theme — or on similar accessories.
