We use different filament brands to offer more color and finish options. Some high-stress parts use PA6CF for durability and cannot be customized. PETG HF has a more matte finish than standard PETG, with slightly lower strength.
Choose based on which hand you use to hold the blaster. This determines which side the dart gate faces.
Each kit includes two spring options, allowing you to experiment and find the setup that best suits your needs.
For those who are new to foam dart blasters with a barrel/tube, a BCAR or SCAR is essential to help the dart achieve a more stable flight path and improve accuracy. Make sure you have a BCAR or SCAR. The Jolt Zhurong Extra delivers around 120 FPS with a 1.5 mm spring, and approximately 150 FPS with a 1.6 mm spring. A 10-axis BCAR is generally sufficient. I merely think a 15-axis BCAR looks better.
If sights are not selected, the default configuration includes an angeld connector rail riser.
When using our printed Adjustable sights, the dart holder may only be mounted on the bottom rail, which conflict with the foregrip position.

Big Jolt Zhu Rong

Big Jolt has become extremely popular in China thanks to a large and active modding community. The platform supports a wide variety of play styles, with many designers developing their own interpretations and mechanical solutions. Due to this popularity, Big Jolt has repeatedly sold out on Temu China, with prices increasing multiple times during periods of high demand.

Some of the most well-known Big Jolt mods include the ball-valve mod, Zhu Rong mod, Zhu Rong Extra, and revolver mod, among others.

What’s Included & What’s Not

The only difference between the Zhu Rong Origin and Extra versions is the feeding module at the rear. You can switch between the two modules by removing and reinstalling just four screws (apply seal grease).

The Origin module provides an excellent air seal for maximum performance, while the Extra module is designed for the fun and dart-in-dart loading experience.

Please note that the Origin module cannot be used with a stock.

The Origin module is included, and its color will match the Extra module you select.

Important:

This does not include an assembly service. Your order includes 3D-printed parts, the Big Jolt blaster, hardware, the barrel, and PTFE thread seal tape only.

Please prepare your own silicone grease (for the air seal), lubricating grease, and any tools required for assembly.

If you select the Adjustable Sight option when placing your order, the heat-set threaded inserts for the sight will already be installed before shipping.

Alternatively, if you prefer to install the heat-set inserts yourself, simply leave a note with your order and we will ship the sight without the inserts installed.

Zhu Rong Extra – AU Edition

Zhu Rong Extra, designed by Mr. Liu, is based on the original Zhu Rong mod, with major changes to the feeding system and interaction style. By intentionally giving up part of the air seal, the design achieves a more interesting and efficient feeding method. This makes it especially suitable for indoor play and casual use, allowing the blaster to be loaded and fired easily at almost any time without strict operation timing.

The version sold here is a further refined iteration of the Extra version, with several small adjustments made to improve overall usability and handling.

Performance Reference (Zhu Rong Origin)

Combo FPS Notes
1.5×120 + 200 ~150 Easy prime
1.6×120 + 200 ~160 Just right
1.7×120 + 200 ~165–173  As easy or as difficult as priming S400 with 2.0 spring

Known Limitations

The following limitations are inherent to the current design at this stage:

The trigger has no pre-travel take-up, resulting in a more abrupt firing feel.

The 3D-printed trigger with a return spring produces a firmer trigger pull, which may affect accuracy. This aspect may be improved in future revisions.

The original factory trigger offers a softer pull but suffers from poor long-term durability.

Designer's Overview

Mr. Liu gives a short explanation of the model’s design and how its foam dart feeding system works.
