I’ve never been particularly interested in CNC blasters. They’re usually heavier and more expensive than I’d like.
Patrick from Melbourne, aka Plane on Discord, pointed me toward the Loki.
The Loki is a CNC hybrid, which is probably why it appeals to me more than most CNC designs. The printed parts keep the weight reasonable and add a bit of DIY personality through color customization.
Yes, it costs more than a typical printed blaster. But once I finished assembling it, I was surprised by the overall quality, appearance, and level of refinement. The CNC-machined main body itself serves as the air cylinder, resulting in an exceptionally slim profile that offers both excellent ergonomics and a sleek, aesthetically pleasing appearance.
It’s now joined the Seagull, Harrier, Kunlun, and S400 as one of the site’s Big Five springers.
The yellow, light gray, and dark gray parts shown are all color-customizable printed parts.
The prototype was built in red. The stock can be printed in a contrasting color if desired.
Like other Diamond Dog blasters, the Loki uses a barrel threaded at both ends. This allows compatibility with Diamond Dog’s unique threaded BCAR system.
While we do not currently offer Diamond Dog threaded BCARs, you are welcome to contact me on Discord if you are looking for one.
The Loki’s includes a 250mm dual-threaded barrel and a printed threaded Pewpewpew BCAR.
You may also choose to run a Worker 310mm barrel, which is compatible with the platform but is not included with this product.
AND
If a printed part is damaged or wears out, replacement parts can be provided. Whether the replacement and shipping are covered will depend on the specific situation.
AND
This is planned as a regular production model, not a limited release.
The stock appears low simply because I may not have time to build more than one before my trip with my sons.
